We're proud to introduce for May 19th our newest exhibit "Parks 101". Parks represent the power of Canada's natural environment -- a compelling force -- which has shaped not only the geography of Canada, but also the course of history and the experiences of the people who live and travel here. (sourcewww.pc.gc.ca) Parks Canada, the world's first national park system celebrates its 101st anniversary in 2012. Muskoka Heritage Place is celebrating this milestone with a brand new museum exhibit which promises presentation and education on the theme of national, provincial, regional and local parks.
